This bird feeder worked for a few days then some wiley squirrels figured it out. They pried up the top cover and helped themselves. To remedy this I took a piece of wire and fastened down the cover. Now it works fine.

It gets a 4 star rating instead of 5 beacuse I had to come up with my own solution for our persistent squirrels.

I putchased this feeder because my feeders were being attacked by pigeons and They kept the small birds away from the feeder. This feeder keeps all the large birds away and lets the small ones feed. It works. Thank you.

This feeding tube is worth the money. We bought it as a Christmas present and it more than met our expectations.

The feeder works well at keeping the squirrels out of your seed. I did have a squirrel try and pry the top cover off, but he never got it off. They seem to not bother with it anymore and just eat the seed on the ground. The only problem is that only small sparrow type birds go in it. I have not seen any Cardinals or other birds of that size. Overall it works as it is designed and keeps the squirrels out.

Excellant bird feeder, small birds pass thru the outside wire and squirrels cannot reach in to the feeder. Excellent distance between the outside wire and the bird feeder.

This is a fantastic feeder. It’s not chipmunk proof but the squirrels aren’t emptying it. The birds like it and we can once again delight in watching the birds eat instead of just feeding the local squirrel population.
